The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (Ecnec) on Thursday approved 10 development projects with a total estimated cost of Tk 84.26 billion.
Presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the committee endorsed seven fresh projects and revised three ongoing projects.
Out of the Tk 84.26 bill allocations, Tk 79.39 bill will come from internal sources while Tk 4.86 from external sources as project aid, said Planning Minister Abdus Salam at a briefing in Dhaka.
The PM has instructed the concerned authorities to prepare for facing challenges and taking advantages after the LDC graduation in 2026.
