Exim Bank signs MoU with HAAB

Exim Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB).

Managing Director (Current Charge) M Akhter Hossain and President of Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) Sayed Golam Sarwer signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at a signing ceremony held in HAAB Central Office, Dhaka, on April 17, 2025, according to a press release. 

Under the MoU, all Hajj and Umrah pilgrims may deposit their Hajj and Umrah registration fees through 155 branches and 73 sub-branches of EXIM Bank nationwide in a very easy and convenient manner.

Senior Vice President & Head of Shari'ah Secretariat Mohammad Zulkernine, Secretary General of HAAB Farid Ahmed Mazumder and senior executives of both the organisations were also present in the programme.
