Merchandise export to Malaysia in the past fiscal year (FY17) jumped by 10.71 per cent over the previous fiscal year (FY16).
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has released the latest statistics of the annual export earnings of Bangladesh which contained the information.
It showed that export earnings from Malaysia stood at $211.51 million in FY17 while the amount was $191.05 million in FY16.
For the last couple of years, discussions have been taking place over a bilateral free trade agreement (BFTA) with Malaysia.
