Gold price has reached an all-time high in the country as local jewellers on Wednesday decided to revise the rates following the value of pure gold moving upward in the global market.
As per the new tariff, 22-carat premium quality gold will be sold at Tk 112,908 per bhori (11.664 grams).
The new prices of different quality of the yellow metal will be effective from Thursday. The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of the Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) made the decision today.
According to the new pricing, per bhori gold is increased by TK 2,217.
