Govt allows import of 49,755 tonne potatoes in two days

The government, over the last two days, has given permission to import 49,755 tonnes of potatoes.

The government gave such permission against 77 applications, news agency BSS reported citing a press release of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Following the permission for allowing import of potatoes given on October 30, permission for importing 49,755 tonnes of potatoes was given till today (Wednesday).
