Guardian Life Insurance Limited has launched its newly redesigned mobile app, Guardian Life.
The company announced this in a press release on Monday, saying the app was developed after months of research, design thinking, and tech wizardry.
It described the app as functional – as well as intuitive and smart – for both long-time policyholders and first-timers.
Registration requires only a phone number or email, with no prior policy needed. Customers can also purchase digital insurance products, including Guardian Accidental Care and Guardian Cancer Care.
A built-in smart adviser of the app suggests long-term coverage based on individual needs.
The app allows customers to submit claims, track their status, receive benefits, manage multiple policies, pay premiums, and download tax certificates and policy statements.
It also offers IPD cashless service requests during a hospital emergency and integrates telemedicine, doctor appointments, medicine orders, ambulance requests, and even sample collection.
“We have been relentlessly working to improve the digital experience across all platforms. Thus, we introduced the new app, guided by a data-driven approach to enrich user experience. This is a key step in digital transformation we envision for the insurance sector,” said Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, Additional Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (Acting), Guardian.
The Guardian Life app is available now on both Android and iOS.
