The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) has celebrated the renowned artist Hashem Khan by ushering his cultural journey in the spotlight.
The bank published an artwork album by the world-renowned artist on this occasion, says a media release.
As an inspiration in the field of art, Hashem Khan is known to conjure vivid representations of history and humanity with his brushstrokes.
His artworks are known for capturing the raw essence of rural landscapes and the fervent spirit of the liberation struggle, said the release.
He has been awarded with multiple accolades including the Ekushey Padak and Swadhinata Padak for his immense contributions.
At the unveiling ceremony, art enthusiasts of the country were gathered to honour his lifetime artworks.
With HSBC’s association with the album publication, the event aimed to preserve the cultural heritage of Bangladesh and encourage artistic expression.
