IFIC Bank inaugurates ‘Smart Booth’

IFIC Bank Plc has recently opened a smart booth at the Dhaka Polytechnic Institute grounds to promote the motto ‘Smart hocche Bangladesh, len-den hocche cashless’ ("Bangladesh goes smart, transactions go cashless). This smart banking booth has been installed to facilitate and secure transactions for buyers and sellers of Qurbani cattlehaat.

Director of the Payment System Department (PSD) of Bangladesh Bank Md Motasem Billah inaugurated the IFIC Smart Booth as the chief guest. Md Nurul Hasnat, Additional Managing Director of IFIC Bank, was present as the special guest, according to a press release.

Md Habibur Rahman, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank (PSD), IFIC Bank Deputy Managing Director Md Rafiqul Islam, Head of Operation Helal Ahmed and other senior officials were also present at the programme.

From this IFIC Smart Booth, buyers and sellers coming to Cattle Hut can avail of various banking facilities, including instant account opening, debit card issuance, fund transfer, cash deposit, ATM facility, detection of fake notes, etc.
