Islami Bank holds discussion marking Independence Day

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organised a discussion meeting and Du’a marking Independence and National Day on March 26, 2024, through a virtual platform

Dr Tanveer Ahmad, vice chairman of the bank, addressed the programme as the chief guest, according to a media statement.

Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director and CEO of the bank presided over the programme while Mohammad Solaiman, FCA, chairman, Audit Committee, Freedom Fighter Md Joynal Abedin and Freedom Fighter Professor Dr Qazi Shahidul Alam, directors of the bank, addressed the event as special guests.

Muhammad Qaisar Ali, additional managing director, addressed the welcome speech and Prof Dr Muhammad Abdus Samad, member secretary, Shariah Supervisory Committee, conducted the du’a-munazat.

Professor Dr Md Sirajul Karim, Syed Abu Asad, Mohammad Quamrul Hasan, Professor Md Fashiul Alam, Khurshid-Ul-Alam, Mohammed Nasir Uddin, FCMA and Freedom Fighter Borhan Uddin Ahmed, directors of the bank, Md Altaf Hossain, additional managing director, Miftah Uddin, deputy managing director along with the senior executives, head of zones, branch incumbents and dub-branch in-charges of the bank attended the programme.
