Jessore Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has organised a discussion programme on ‘Compliance of Shari‘ah in Banking Operations’ at its zonal office.
Professor Dr. Abdus Samad, member secretary of sharia’h supervisory committee of the bank addressed the programme as chief guest, says a media release.
Muhammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, deputy managing director of the bank, joined the function as a special guest.
Md. Shamsuddoha, executive vice president of Shari‘ah secretariat, presented the keynote.
Md. Shafiul Azam, head of Jessore Zone, presided over the programme while Md. Sarowar Hossain, head of the Jessore branch, addressed the welcome speech.
Executives, officials, and clients of the zone attended the programme.
