Islami Bank holds Shari‘ah webinar

Chattogram South and North, Cumilla and Noakhali Zones of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC on Saturday organised a webinar on ‘Compliance of Shari‘ah in Banking Operations’ on a virtual platform.

Mohammad Solaiman, FCA, chairman of Audit Committee of the bank, addressed the webinar as the chief guest, and Md Altaf Hossain, additional managing director of the bank, as a special guest, says a press release. 

Mufti Sayeed Ahmed, vice chairman of the Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of the bank, addressed the programme as the key speaker.

Presided over by Meah Md Barkat Ullah, head of Chattogram South Zone, the webinar was also addressed by Md Shamsuddoha, executive vice president of Shari‘ah secretariat; and Mohammad Nurul Hossain Kaosar, head of Chattogram North Zone.
