Ispahani Tea Limited receives ‘National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award-2022’

Ispahani Tea Limited, a subsidiary of the Ispahani Group, has won the ‘National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award 2022’.

Ispahani Tea Limited received the first prize in the manufacturing industry (food and beverage category), according to a press release.

Mr Omar Hannan, General Manager and Dr Eng Golam Mostafa of Ispahani Group, received this prestigious award from Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun.

In recognition of its continuous success in improving productivity and product quality, Ispahani Tea Limited has secured the first place in the manufacturing industry - food and beverage category, awarded by the industries ministry.

The ministry awarded the National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award 2022 to 22 industrial and service institutions.

The award ceremony, organised by the National Productivity Organization (NPO) under the ministry, took place on Saturday at the Multipurpose Hallroom of the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka city.

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun attended the event as the chief guest.

The ceremony was presided over by Muhammad Mesbahul Alam, director general (additional secretary) of the National Productivity Organization (NPO).

At the event, officials of the Ispahani Group were present.

Notably, Ispahani Group’s ‘Pahartali Textile and Hosiery Mills’ and ‘Ispahani Foods Limited’ had previously won the National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award in 2019 and 2020, respectively.

In continuation of this success, Ispahani Tea Limited, a subsidiary of the Ispahani Group, has won yet another National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award.

This achievement reflects the firm commitment to quality management across all the esteemed institutions of this long-established group.
