Jamuna Bank Foundation supports flood-hit communities

Jamuna Bank Foundation has been actively supporting flood-affected communities across the country since the onset of the devastating floods

Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to social responsibility, the foundation has undertaken several initiatives to provide relief to those in need, says a press release.

In Sonagazi Upazilla of Feni district, Jamuna Bank Foundation distributed 13 essential food items to 501 families across nine unions, ensuring that vital resources reached some of the most affected areas.

Further expanding its efforts, the foundation donated a speedboat to the Comilla district administration to enhance relief operations in hard-to-reach areas.

In addition to these initiatives, under the leadership of Mr Al-Haj Nur Mohammed, chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation and founder of Al-Haj Nur Mohammed Trust, relief packages were distributed to 500 families in Chagalnaiya Upazilla of Feni district.

The relief efforts in this region included baby food, essential medicines, and livestock feed, addressing the diverse needs of the affected communities. Jamuna Bank Foundation remains dedicated to supporting the country's most vulnerable populations during this challenging time. The foundation will continue its efforts to provide relief and aid as the nation works together to recover from the impacts of the floods.
