Karmasangsthan Bank holds business review meeting in Barishal

A business review meeting was held on Tuesday at BDS Bhawan, Barisal on the occasion of 100 days’ special programme by Karmasangsthan Bank with the participation of Regional Managers, Branch Managers and 2nd Officers of Barisal, Patuakhali, Pirojpur and Gopalganj regions, says a press release.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Karmasangsthan Bank and former secretary Dr AFM Matiur Rahman was present as the chief guest at the meeting. Barisal Divisional Commissioner Mohammed Rayhan Kaosar, Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank  Arun Kumar Chowdhury and Deputy Commissioner, Barisal Mohammad Delwar Hossain were present as special guests. Meher Sultana, Deputy Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank, presided over the meeting. General Manager of Karmasangsthan Bank Md Shafiqul Islam Mia, Departmental Head of Loan Recovery Department Md Momtaz Uddin, Khulna Divisional Head Md Nazrul Islam Khan and others were present.

The chief guest in his speech emphasised on providing good customer service and also on achieving 100 per cent target in all indicators in the ongoing program.

The Divisional Commissioner of Barisal in his speech advised every branch manager and every colleague to make at least one customer fully self-reliant every year. As a result, the main objective of the Karmasangsthan Bank will gradually be implemented in the country.

He also mentioned in his speech that in Barisal region where a lot of crops are produced, he called upon the Karmasangsthan Bank to come forward by increasing the flow of loan to the crop processing industry.

The Deputy Commissioner of Barisal, in his speech, emphasised the Karmasangsthan bank on green finance and financing of rice processing.

In his speech, the Managing Director called for the success of the 100-day programme through improved customer service, digitization, increased loan flow, recovery of defaulted loans, recovery of classified loans, improved work environment, and improved efficiency.
