Mercantile Bank holds half-yearly performance review meeting for North Bengal region

Mercantile Bank has recently held its Half Yearly Performance Review Meeting-2024 at Hotel Momo Inn Bogura

Heads of 16 branches and in-charges of 8 Upashakhas of the bank’s North Bangal zone participated in the conference that took place on July 13, 2024, according to a press release.

Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, Managing Director of the bank, was the chief guest of the conference.

Mati Ul Hasan, AMD & CRO of the bank, spoke as the special guest.

Md Mahmood Alam Chowdhury, DMD & COO; and Dr Tapash Chandra Paul, PhD, CFO of the bank, were also present as the special guests.

Md Motiar Rahman, head of North Bengal Zone, presided over the meeting.

In his address, the bank’s Managing Director urged the managers to emphasise SME financing and agriculture.

At the same time, he advised the participants to enhance export-import business and collect remittance.
