Mercantile Bank holds training on cash management

Mercantile Bank PLC organised a day-long training on ‘Cash Management and General Banking Operations’ recently.

A total of 42 cash officials from 21 upashakhas of the bank attended the programme, according to a press release. 

Tapash Chandra Paul, PhD, Chief Financial Officer of the bank inaugurated the training.

In his address, the bank’s CFO advised participating officers to be strictly compliant with the central bank circulars and guidelines related to cash management and general banking operations in discharging their assigned responsibilities.

The training sessions were conducted by the faculties of the training institute along with the respective officers of the operations division of the bank.

Javed Tariq, Principal of MBTI moderated the programme, the release adds.
