Midland Bank Limited (MDB), a 4th generation private commercial bank, completed10th year of its commercial operation on Tuesday, says a press release.
On the occasion, Md Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO, along with the senior management members and divisional heads of the bank, held a 'Doa' session at the Board Room of the bank at Gulshan in Dhaka.
The bank also arranged a blood donation programme in collaboration with Quantum Foundation. Additionally, the bank conducted a food distribution initiative through its branches, reaching out to orphanages across the country.
MD and CEO Md Ahsan-uz Zaman said a new product and a new service was launched on the occasion of the 10th anniversary.
"We are at the forefront of innovation in services and products and today, we are pleased to announce the introduction of MDB Digital Loan and MDB Contactless Cards. Our customers now will be able to enjoy loan (SOD only) digitally from anywhere anytime through MDB Mobile App 'midland online'," he said.
All the branches of the bank organised separate programmes on the occasion.
