Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) and Mastercard launched a business credit card solution on Tuesday, as Walmart Global Sourcing (WMGS) Bangladesh Private Limited was the first client to avail it, according to a statement.
Designed to meet the unique challenges faced by modern enterprises, the MTB Mastercard Business Credit Card is set to redefine the way businesses manage their financial transactions.
According to the press release, businesses can efficiently and effectively manage their expenses with this newly launched solution, whether it is travel and entertainment expenses, marketing expenses or any other business spending.
The card is a dual currency card that can be used for international transactions in line with the guidelines issued by the central bank.
A business entity can nominate its employees or owners to receive cards, and it can nominate any number of individuals. The card will feature both the business entity's name and the cardholder's name.
Then the total credit limit sanctioned for a business entity will be divided among the nominated individuals, according to the press release.
Besides, MTB Mastercard Business Credit Card-holders will enjoy complimentary access to MTB Air Lounges at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (both domestic and international terminals), Dhaka; Shah Amanat International Airport (domestic terminal), Chattogram; Osmani International Airport (domestic terminal), Sylhet; Saidpur Airport; and Cox's Bazar Airport.
Cardholders travelling overseas can also avail themselves of meet-and-greet services at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
