A 21-member committee of Bangladesh Public Relation Association's Chattogram unit was announced on Tuesday.
Osman Gani Chowdhury (Media Advisor, GPH Ispat Ltd) and Saif Uddin Ahmed Saki (ex-public relations officer of Chattogram City Corporation) were elected president and general secretary of the committee respectively for the next two years.
The other leaders of the committee are Vice-Presidents: Yusuf Muhammad (former Director (Press), University of Chittagong), Mostak Khandkar (Assistant Director, IIUC) and Jannatul Ferdous (Manager (PR), Eastern Refinery Limited); Joint Secretary: Khalilur Rahman (Senior Deputy Director (Public Relations) of Chittagong University of Veterinary and Animal Science); Organizing Secretary: Mokammel Haque Khan, (Public Relations Officer of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry); Finance Secretary: Mijanul Islam (Media and Public Relations Adviser of KSRM); Co-Finance Secretary: Biswajit Ghosh (Deputy Manager of Concord Group); Office Secretary: Saidul Islam Chowdhury (Public Relations Officer, Southern University); Co-Office Secretary: Yakub Ali, (Publicity Officer, Bangladesh Forest Research Institute); Publicity and Publication Secretary: Rashdeul Islam (Assistant Registrar of CUET); Education and Research Secretary: Mohammad Hossain, (Deputy Registrar (Information), University of Chittagong); Social Welfare Secretary: Imtiyaj Ahmed; Sports Secretary: Khaled Hamdi (Head of Publication, Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd.); Cultural Secretary: Farhana Idris (Programme Officer of YPSA); and Executive members: Salaudani Shahriar (Deputy Registrar, BGC Trust University), Aminul Haque (Assistant-Manager of Padma Oil Ltd), Akbar Hossain (Assistant Director, Public Relations of PDB). Russell Sorder (Deputy Manager, Concord Group), and Aziz Ahmed (Public Relations Officer of Chattogram City Corporation).
