People's Leasing gets new MD

Md Sagir Hossain Khan has recently joined the People's Leasing and Financial Services Limited (PLFSL) as its managing director.

Prior to his joining at PLFSL, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Fund Limited (BIFFL), a fully government-owned specialised financial institution, says a press release.

Earlier, he also worked for Saudi Bangladesh Industrial & Agricultural Investment Co. Ltd (SABINCO) as the deputy managing director.

Sagir Hossain started off his career as a senior officer through the recruitment of the Bankers Recruitment Committee of Bangladesh Bank.

He also served Rupali Bank, National Bank of Pakistan, Faisal Islamic Bank of Bahrain, Bank Alfalah and The City Bank in different positions.

He obtained Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University.
