State-owned Rupali Bank Limited has taken various initiatives to increase remittance inflow centering Eid-ul-Adha.
As a part of the initiative, Rupali Bank Remittance Service Programme (Eid Ananda), the lottery draw of fifth and last week was held at the head office of the bank at Dilkusha in Dhaka on Tuesday, says a press release.
Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mohammad Jahangir was present at the event. He greeted the remittance sender and said Rupali Bank Limited has taken several initiatives to increase remittance inflow in legal channel.
Five remittance receiving customers received the prizes. The first winner of the lottery received a 100cc motorcycle. The second winner got a 43inches smart TV. The third winner received a microwave oven. The fourth and fifth winners got a smartphone and a dinner set respectively.
The campaign was started on May 28 and ended on July 4.
DMDs of the bank Tahmina Akhter and Hasan Tanvir, General Managers Md Harunur Rashid, Md Fayaz Alam, Mohammed Shahedur Rahman, Md Ismail Hossain Sheikh, Tanvir Hasnain Moin and other senior officials of the bank were also present.
