Sadharan Bima hands over cheque worth Tk 1.2m for pilot Asim Jawad’s death claim

Sadharan Bima Corporation handed over a cheque of Tk 1.2 million for the death claim of Air Force Squadron Leader Mr Asim Jawad in the crash of Air Force training aircraft.

Mr Asim Jawad, the 'Sword of Honour' awardee of the Bangladesh Air Force, died on Thursday last  when a training aircraft of the Air Force crashed, according to a press release.

A cheque for insurance claim under Personal Accident Insurance policy of Sadharan Bima Corporation for Tk 1.2 million was handed over on Sunday to Bangladesh Air Force Warrant Officer Mr Mohammad Raihan Uddin by Sadharan Bima Corporation.

General Manager Mr Bibekananda Saha, Deputy General Manager Md. Abdul Barek and Manager Muhammad Masum Hossain Khan were present on behalf of Sadharan Bima Corporation in the cheque handover ceremony.
