Salahuddin Alamgir elected chairman of Executive Committee of Modhumoti Bank PLC

Salahuddin Alamgir CIP, Chairman and CEO of Labib Group, was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Executive Committee of Modhumoti Bank PLC by the Board of Directors in its 79th meeting held on August 28, 2024 at its headquarters.

Alamgir, a promising business personality having experience of more than 25 years in different fields like Sweater, dyeing, textile, banking, leasing, electronics, IT and agro, was born in a respectable Muslim family at Shakhipur, Tangail.

He is also the Vice-Chairman of IT Consultants PLC (Q-Cash), one of the leading IT Companies in Bangladesh and awarded with CIP since 2009.

He has also been awarded with various national and international recognitions based on his excellent business records and significant contributions to the commerce, industry and national economy of Bangladesh.

Salahuddin Alamgir is associated with many trade bodies in different capacities. He is the current President of Bangladesh Dyed Yarn Exporters’ Association (BDYEA) and acting President of Gazipur Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GMCCI).

He was the Vice-President of FBCCI. Besides, Alamgir is involved in different social and cultural activities. He is a Life Member of Kurmitola Golf Club, Army Golf Club and Gulshan Club Limited. He is also a Member of NDC Alumni Association, Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka.
