Shahjalal Islami Bank inaugurates a sub-branch in Lakshmipur

Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. inaugurated a sub-branch in Paniala Bazar of Ramganj upazila of Lakshmipur district on Sunday with the determination to provide better services and to provide banking services to people from all walks of life.

Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited and Chairman of Bank Foundation Dr. Anwar Hussain Khan, MP, inaugurated the sub-branch as the chief guest during a ceremony, according to a press release.

Managing Director and CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over the opening programme.

Head of Public Relations and Bank Foundation Mr. Md. Shamsuddoha (Shimu) moderated the inaugural programme.

Paniala Bazar Sub-Branch will conduct their banking activities under the Ramganj branch of the bank.

The opening ceremony was held at the sub-branch premises included recitation from the holy Quran, milad and doa mahfil. An ATM booth of the bank was also inaugurated at the sub-branch premises on the same day.

Among others, Ramganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Umme Habiba Mira was present as a special invited guest in the programme. Moreover, among the customers and well-wishers AKM Ruhul Amin, Nasir Uddin, Sheikh Shamsul Alam, Belal Ahmed, Suraiya Akhtar Shiuli, Sohel Patwari, Saikat Mahmud and Sirajul Islam Patwari delivered speeches on the occasion.

Anwer Hossain Khan, MP, expressed his hope that overall business and trade of the area will be improved through opening of the sub-branch.

He said Shahjalal Islami Bank is constantly expanding its branches in view of the increasing demand of customers and with the aim of providing banking services to people from all walks of life.

The managing director and CEO of the bank said they have started expanding the branches as well as introducing various types of banking services in line with that the needs of the customers in different areas.
