Shahjalal Islami Bank organises tree plantation programme in Feni district

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, as part of its corporate social responsibility, carried out a tree plantation programme on Saturday.

The programme was organised at the Markazul Ulum Madrasa grounds of ParshuramUpazilain Feni district, according to a media release. 

The Additional Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Plc Mr Abdul Aziz attended the plantation programme as the chief guest and planted trees in the Madrasah grounds and distributed various types of fruit, forest and medicinal tree among the students.

Among others, the Manager of Feni Branch of ShahjalalIslami Bank PLC Mr Mizanur Rahman, the Principal of the Markazul Ulum Madrasa Mr Noor Baskh Majumdar, the local prominent people and bank officials were present at the event.

At the event, the chief guest highlighted the contribution of trees in protecting the balance of the environment and encouraged everyone to plant more trees.
