The board directors of Social Islami Bank PLC held the 517th board meeting at the bank’s head office on Thursday.
Prof Dr M Sadiqul Islam, FCMA, Chairman of the board, presided over the meeting, says a press release.
The other directors Major (Retd) Dr Md Rezaul Haque, Mrs Maksuda Begum, Md Anwar Hossain, FCA and Md Morshed Alam Khondoker were present in the meeting.
Managing Director (CC) Mohammad Forkanullah, Deputy Managing Director Abdul Hannan Khan and Company SecretaryMd. Nazmul Ahsan, FCS were also present.
The Chairman of the board has expressed his intention with firm determination for ensuring good governance in the Bank and to restore the confidence and trust of the clients of the bank. He further mentioned that in order to overcome the present challenges we have to take effective steps for collecting deposit and reduce the classified investment.
