Social Islami Bank opens 7 agent banking outlets

Social Islami Bank opened seven more agent banking outlets through a virtual platform on Wednesday at its head office.

Zafar Alam, Managing Director and CEO, inaugurated the agent banking outlets as the chief guest, while Mohammad Forkanullah, Deputy Managing Director, presided over the programme, according to a press release.

Abdul Hannan Khan, Deputy Managing Director, was present as special guest on the occasion.

Md Mashiur Rahman, Head of Agent Banking Division, delivered welcome speech at the event.

Md Moniruzzaman, Head of Marketing and Brand Communication, Syed Joynul Abedin, Head of Shariah Supervisory Committee Secretariat, and senior officials of the head office were also present.

Concerned zonal heads and branch managers, agents, and local dignitaries also joined the programme virtually.

Speaking on the occasion, Zafar Alam, MD and CEO, said, “We are providing our products and services at the doorsteps of the marginal people by opening agent banking outlets in the remotest parts in the country.”
