Sonali Bank pays tribute to Bangabandhu on historic March 7  

Sonali Bank PLC paid tribute to Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on historic March 7 with due dignity.

The bank’s CEO & Managing Director Md Afzal Karim placed a floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at his Dhanmondi 32 residence.

Later, Md Afzal Karim along with a member of the bank’s Board of Directors, Gopal Chandra Ghosh also placed a floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at the bank bhaban premises on Thursday.

Deputy managing directors, general managers, executives, officers and employees were present on the occasion. The bank also observed the day by arranging different programmes across the country with due respect.
