Syngenta Asia head Paul Luxton visits Bangladesh

Paul Luxton, head of Asia, at Syngenta arrived in Bangladesh on Monday.

With a distinguished 30-year career, Paul has held key leadership roles at Syngenta, where he has driven growth by aligning Syngenta global R&D strategies with local agricultural needs, leading to significant innovations and progress in the agricultural sector, says a press release.

During his visit, Paul will travel to the northern district of the country to meet smallholder farmers that Syngenta has been enabling with its technological advancement to improve their livelihoods.

He will also visit CENTRIGO™- a new farming ecosystem initiative that offers end-to-end solution to growers and ‘Farmer School’-an integrated learning and awareness hub to empower farming community.

Syngenta is a joint venture public limited company, where 60 per cent of the shares are held by Syngenta AG Switzerland and 40 per cent of the shares are held by the Bangladesh government through BCIC (Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation).
