The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation Bangladesh gets three new office-bearers

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation Bangladesh has announced the formation of new three-member office-bearers following a selection process at a recent board meeting, says a press release.
Members of the Board of Trustees made the decision unanimously.
Lubna Choudhury, a renowned educationist and the Founder Principal and Chairperson of Bangladesh International Tutorial Ltd, has been unanimously selected as the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees.
Ms. Choudhury assumes the role from the immediate past Chairman, AK Shamsuddin Khan, an eminent businessman and Director of A. K. Khan & Company Ltd.
In addition, the following individuals were unanimously selected as office-bearers for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 sessions: Rizwan Bin Farouq, a distinguished entrepreneur and the Managing Director of B2M Technologies Ltd, was made the Honorary Secretary, succeeding Lubna Choudhury. And Mirza Salman Ispahani, one of the country's leading businessmen and the Chairman of M. M. Ispahani Limited, was selected as the Treasurer, replacing Sayeeful Islam, a prominent businessman and the Managing Director of Concorde Garments Group.
The board expressed its gratitude and bid farewell to the outgoing office-bearers, and welcomed the new committee.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation Bangladesh expresses confidence in the capabilities and commitment of the new office-bearers. The Foundation remains dedicated since 2006 to its mission of fostering youth development i.e. personal development, versatile skills, resilience, teamwork, leadership, community service and sense of responsibility through 103 leading educational institutions in Bangladesh as its partners facilitating with the Award programme and holistic development initiatives among the young individuals.
