Union Bank holds 10th meeting of its newly-formed board of directors

The 10th Board Meeting of the newly-formed Board of Directors of Union Bank PLC was held on Tuesday in presence of all the members of the board at the head office of the bank.

Mr. Md. Fariduddin Ahmed, chairman of the bank’s board of directors, presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

At the beginning of the meeting, Bangladesh Bank’s steps and initiatives aimed at solving the liquidity crisis of the banking sector were highly appreciated.

The press release said with the announcement of the plan given by the Bangladesh Bank governor in this regard, signs of public confidence are being observed.

During the board meeting, all levels of the workforce of the bank were strongly urged to use this favourable situation to expand the business of the bank quickly.
