‘Pro-Palestinian protesters don’t know very much about history of Middle East’

The pro-Palestinian protesters, who staged demonstrations at university campuses across the United States, don’t know very much about the history of the Middle East, says former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

During an interview on Thursday, she also said the protesters are unaware of history in many areas of the world, according to US-based news outlets.

Clinton also assumed that the protesters may have fallen target to pro-Hamas ‘propaganda’ on social media and in the classroom.

She alleged young people consume some information that sometimes contains a hidden agenda or lacks any kind of context.

The former US secretary of state also urged educators to help young people understand how to verify and understand information on global issues.
