Four Middle East countries reopen airspace; flights resume

Four Middle East countries, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain, have reopened their airspace for commercial flights hours after Iranian strike on a US airbase in Qatar. 

According to a media release of the Biman Bangladesh Airlines issued on Monday night, the four countries had suspended commercial air traffic as a precautionary measure, reports UNB.

The latest updates confirm that as of 3:00 am Bangladesh time on June 24, airspace restrictions were lifted and all commercial flights to and from Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Bahrain were operating normally.

Passengers have been advised to contact their respective airlines or travel agents for updated schedules and relevant travel information.

Authorities have expressed gratitude to passengers for their patience, understanding, and cooperation during the temporary disruption.
