The event, hosted at ShopUp's headquarters at SKS Tower, Mohakhali, presented four promising startups poised to revolutionize diverse sectors within Bangladesh's business landscape.

At the event, the four hand-picked early-stage companies—DoctorKoi, HealthOS, Hishabee, and Pickaboo—presented their funding pitches to the members of the Bangladesh Angels Network alongside an audience consisting of angel investors and venture capitalists from the ecosystem.

The showcase was a true testament to the collaborative spirit of the startup ecosystem.

It started with Zakia Sameen Noor, Senior Analyst and BWIN Team Leader, sharing the opening remarks. Shaheen Siam, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of ShopUp, followed by sharing the welcome remarks, underlining the long-term collaboration of ShopUp and BAN and the collective effort to support and celebrate innovation in Bangladesh.

All the showcased startups have already demonstrated significant growth. DoctorKoi leads the market for digital prescriptions and enables seamless doctor-patient interactions. HealthOS empowers pharmacies by streamlining the supply chain and developing the technology and data infrastructure to serve millions of patients through their pharmacy network.

Hishabee empowers and supports small retailers in Bangladesh through its comprehensive business management solution. And finally, Pickaboo is reshaping retail experiences by facilitating direct connections between consumers and manufacturers.

The closing remarks of the event, delivered by Nirjhor Rahman, CEO of Bangladesh Angels Network, underscored the crucial role of the audience, including angel investors and venture capitalists, in supporting and investing in the Bangladeshi startup ecosystem. Their support is vital to fostering and celebrating the startup culture in the country, and their presence at the event was a testament to their commitment to the growth of these startups.

Bangladesh Angels Network (BAN) endeavours to propel the nation's startup entrepreneurs by offering early-stage financing and advisory support, bridging crucial funding gaps through diverse engagement initiatives. The BAN Mini Showcase, Powered by ShopUp, was another essential step in that direction.
